MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ME:

I was born here in El Dorado, Arkansas, but did not grow up here. My Dad spent 32 years in the United States Marine Corps so I spent my childhood moving around the country and living on various Marine Corps bases.  I graduated from Beaufort High School in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina.    I later attended Old Dominion College in Norfolk, Virginia. Before finally realizing my goal of becoming an artist, I worked for 18 years as a medical transcriptionist/secretary.  I specialized in pathology and radiology.

My husband Lawrence and I have been married for 36 years.  We had a blended family of four wonderful children, my son, my daughter, and his two sons.  Our oldest son Larry passed away in 2004.  He was a fine young man and it is his inspiration that keeps us all going.  We also have four lovely grand-daughters.

We love boating, model trains, riding four-wheelers, and working in our yard and greenhouse.  I am the "cat person" in the family, and currently have four.
